Its set ! this year we are going back to Gulgong for our second half General Meeting
DATES: Thursday 19th /Friday 20th/Saturday 21st /Sunday 22nd October
Depart Monday 23rd October 2023
VENUE: Gulgong Showground GULGONG NSW
ACCESS: Turn West off the B55 or Castlereagh HWY/Medley Street onto
Guntawang Street and follow to the showground gates.
CAMPING COSTS: $20 per night per vehicle/site
FACILITIES: Excellent camping facilities.
Power, water, toilets and showers.
A dump point is available.
Motel accommodation is also available in the town.
A shaded area for our meeting, socialising and kitchen facilities
THE PROGRAM: Included will be a Ladies Session on how to use the HF radio, especially in an emergency. Demonstration on how to call the Royal Flying Doctor and use the HELP/Red button for an emergency. Department of Transport guidelines on weights of your caravan or motorhome. Practical demonstration of how to make an emergency antenna, web site help and of course our
GENERAL MEETING both face-to face and via Google Meet.
It will also be an opportunity to have the Techos help out with any radio problems or programming. It will be an opportunity to meet members, especially some sked operators and Committee members.
Share your experiences, rekindle old friendships, make new ones and much, much more.

There will be the usual evening meals, morning teas, happy hours and entertainment. Saturday night we will go out for a meal at, probably, the RSL and have the raffle draw. There will be a few meals prepared by our Camp Chef at cost price during the weekend!
Please remember that slices, biscuits, fruit cake, scones and savoury biscuits with cheese and tomato are always favourites and welcome at our morning teas
SUNDAY MORNING OUR BREAKFAST WILL BE THE TRADITIONAL BACON AND EGGS BBQ.
We are asking you to please bring along a wrapped gift per person to the value of $10. Your gift donations will be collected before Saturday night for inclusion in the raffle draw.
The raffle will be drawn at the Saturday night dinner.
