You need a hf radio, any brand,
but our club supports both Codan and Barrett
HF RADIO:
Codan HF Radios................. The NGT series transceiver is a comprehensivesolution to your remote area communication needs. As well as bringing the best possible voice communications, the NGT also supports telephone interconnect and GPS tracking capabilities for both mobile and fixed station applications.

Barrett HF Radios............. The mobile versions of our 2050 HF SSB Transceivers are designed specifically for use in land going vehicles such as cars, four wheel drives, trucks, military vehicles etc. These transceivers combined with our 910 automatic tuning mobile antenna provide the emergency and day to day communications requirements of vehicles travelling in remote areas where communications infrastructures are not available or are often unreliable.

MEMBERSHIP:
Membership to our club is required, for you to avail yourself of the benefits of the club. To join, please print out a form by clicking here membership application form and mail it to the address on the form, together with the appropriate payment.
FRIENDSHIP:
As with any association, its success depends upon it members. If
we have individuals who are reaching out for friendship in their
travels, this will lead to the success of the association.
BONUS:
Shared knowledge. With current members who have been "on the wallaby" for years, you gain valuable knowledge of the Australian bush and other useful information to help you in your travels such as good camping spots, local fuel prices in the next town you wish to visit, road conditions, current weather, plus, what are the best deals for the internet and email with a mobile phone.
